meet our trustees

As a charity our governing body is the board of trustees. Our policy is to recruit trustees based on the skills they can offer, but also, our initial members were drawn from our predecessor charities: Workcare Coventry & Warwickshire, and Churches and Industry Group Birmingham and Solihull (CIGB).

Dave Ellis

Temporary Chair

Born in Wolverhampton, David’s parents came to England from Jamaica and they are his heroes; he is incredibly proud to have a Jamaican heritage and to be a Wulfrunian.

He and Vivienne met at London Bible College, have been married 39 years and has three beautiful grown-up children and two gorgeous granddaughters.

As a Baptist Regional Minister, David’s main roles are to encourage and support churches and pastors in North Birmingham, Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Over his 32 years in Baptist ministry, he has served as a trustee and governor for a number of churches, community projects, and schools.

David loves playing music, writing songs, and is a qualified Cricket Umpire.
