He was born and raised on the Channel Island of Guernsey and prior to his call to ministry, worked as an accountant in the ‘world’ of offshore corporate, and trust financial management. He moved to London in 1996 to train for ministry at Spurgeon’s College, and has served as Minister of two Baptist Churches – in London and then Sutton Coldfield – the latter giving him the opportunity to give a few hours each week to the role of volunteer chaplain at Good Hope Hospital.
He is married to Anne, and they have a married daughter and four young grandsons to keep them busy.
To relax he enjoys fishing, playing golf, hill-walking and DIY.
